Ben Sparrow is the founder and CEO of Saltworks. Saltworks innovates and delivers industrial water treatment technology and plants. Ben started the company in 2008 with a single desalination invention built in his apartment. The Vancouver based company has grown into a global leader with an extensive patent and technology portfolio. Saltworks sells major plants globally to semiconductor fabs, mine sites, and factories. Ben’s greatest honour is working with committed people who seek to protect aquatic ecosystems while driving sustainable economic development. Ben is a Professional Engineer, has an MBA, and spent a decade building hydroelectric power plant projects in the remote North prior to starting Saltworks. Ben spends his free time on the water with his six-year-old daughter & Japanese wife.
