Trevor Delorey, P.Eng. is a purpose-driven CEO, Professional Engineer, entrepreneur, and business leader with nearly 20 years of experience spanning across multiple industries including construction, mining, environmental, Indigenous relations, and business development. As CEO of Skwlax Resource Management (SRM), Trevor has led the 100% Skwlāx te Secwepemcúl̓ecw owned Civil Construction company out of Chase, BC, to be one of the largest employers in the Shuswap region, and one of few companies to achieve this level of success as a 100% First Nations community-owned and operated business. Highlighting its achievements, SRM has been selected as 2025 Community Business of the Year (1 Entity) by the BC Achievement Foundation (link) and was also recently featured in the BMO Indigenous Partnership and Progress Report 2025 (link).
Among other successes with Skwlāx te Secwepemcúl̓ecw (SteS) Trevor has also led; the complete restructuring of the Nation’s businesses and corporate governance, the successful startup and growth of a 200-year potential aggregates business based on reserve called Skwlax Aggregates, and the successful establishment of a partially Nation owned Broadband Cooperative created to provide an open access network to an initial 1700 homes throughout the BC interior.
A key focus of Trevor’s journey continues to be building strong Nation-to-Nation and Nation-to-Industry relationships.
His leadership ensures that Indigenous-owned businesses thrive while delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions in the resource and infrastructure sectors. Highlighting his ability and vision in playing this role, Trevor served as a lead Indian Resource Council team member in the development, deployment, and management of Alberta’s Site Rehabilitation Program Period 6 (FNSRP).
Trevor is also the Co-Founder and CEO of STW Environmental Solutions (STW), a company introducing groundbreaking initiatives in water and wastewater treatment technology in the name of environmental sustainability. Under his leadership, STW has secured exclusive rights to innovative water and wastewater treatment solutions for Canada, with plans to expand across North America and beyond.
